PayPal is the largest online payments company and it has always tried to improve the way payments are made. Thanks to the newly updated PayPal Here application we can perform any type of payments that we want from our Android tablets. At this moment, the application is available only on five markets, which include Hong Kong, US, Japan, Australia and UK.
The new update allows merchants to receive payments on the Android devices. Unfortunately, at least for the time being, the application is limited to the countries listed above, and it doesn’t even provide complete support for all Android tablets. Instead from what we know the app has been verified to work with the ASUS Nexus 7 and 19, the ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2-4, Sony Xperia Z as well as Galaxy Note 10”. If you own a tablet that’s not included in this list, then chances are that it won’t work, and while the app is certainly going to be updated in the future, PayPal doesn’t state anything in regards to adding support for more devices or countries.
If the app does work on your device, then you will certainly be happy to know that the app brings the same amazing functionality like the phone version.
One of the major features is that you can easily manage your items in order to customize products and inventory. Additionally, it accepts everything from mobile payments made with PayPal to debit cards and credit cards, which makes it the perfect mobile utility to use if you want to perform online payments.
But probably the most important thing is that through the PayPal Here for tablets application you will be able to track the sales activity in order to see how many items you sold, which are they and you can even transfer your fund to bank accounts for example without any issue.
Users of the PayPal Here are also able to customize their selling experience as they have the ability to set things such as tips, taxes and discounts according to their needs. This way PayPal Here is set to become a lot more personal so a merchant can use it according to his needs and modify the experience if needed.
The app even brings the ability to make sales anywhere thanks to the Swipe Cards feature which is very useful for those that just don’t want to waste time when performing online payments.
Adding Android tablet support for PayPal Here was certainly a great move from PayPal, even though the support has been awaited for more than two years. This is a great addition to the PayPal mobile apps family, and certainly a lot of people are going to take full advantage of these devices. We also hope that people in more countries will be able to enjoy the app when they will extend country support, but we’ll have to wait and see on that one.
